About Me

My name is Allison Kraus, and I am a flute and piccolo repair technician dedicated to helping musicians perform at their best through expert maintenance, restoration, and customization of their instruments. Music has been an important part of my life for many years, and I take pride in combining technical precision with a deep understanding of the needs of flutists and piccolo players.

I graduated from Cicero-North Syracuse High School in 2008, earned an Associate Degree in Music from Onondaga Community College in 2011, and received my Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from Ithaca College in 2014. In 2018, I earned an Advanced Certification in Flute Repair from the Colorado Institute of Musical Instrument Repair.

Following my certification, I joined Burkart-Phelan as a finisher in July 2018. There, I was involved in the final stages of crafting professional flutes and piccolos, gaining valuable experience working with instruments built to the highest standards of quality, precision, and performance.

A native of Syracuse, I proudly serve the Central New York area. I believe that every instrument deserves careful attention and every musician deserves service they can trust.
